The weather held up for the raising of the second wall for our garage and once again our Sandhurst Shores community arrived and had the wall up in seconds. ..then it was party time. Thanks again to everyone who came to help and to those who came to be the cheering section and helped make this a fun social event. And of course a big thank to Sharen Rieger for her terrific photos.12 More pictures here…
David and I contacted, on short notice, many of our neighbours and friends to help us raise the first, and heaviest, wall of the new garage we are building. Everyone came and it was up in minutes…. I was amazed! We also had excellent advice on how to do this easily and safely. We have such a supportive community here in Sandhurst Shores. Thank you all so much. As a new resident to Sandhurst Shores, I would like to ask some questions in order to get up to speed on happenings in our community (rather than using valuable time at the AGM). I wonder if anyone can help me with these things. I’d certainly appreciate it.
With thanks in advance for your help,Read Chrissa’s questions…
I took this shot yesterday standing along our Sandhurst Shores shoreline as the sun was setting. These are rocks that were tossed by others and us that slid really far onto a skin of sheer ice. I wonder…hmmmm… was this the beginning of curling?
Spliff is our oldest kitty, he was 4 months old when David and I were married in August 2005. He was a two week old feral kitten when we found him. This is his favourite sleeping position. lol.Read more about Maggie and Tigs
